IT’S GO TIME. Am I scared? No Am I anxious? I’d be lying if I said no. My faith is what gets me through each and every day. My prayer for today is not just for protection and safety but to be a wave of peace amongst the panic. From @maxlucado devotional yesterday: “When fear and anxiety try to plague our every thought, we can remember this one important truth— God is with us. He is with us. He is for us. He loves us. And he invites us to enter into his rest. We are not alone. When the storm rages, He offers us peace and refuge in the midst of it. He promises hope and strength to those who turn to Him. What is God saying in this crisis? Among the answers must be this promise: “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and I will surely help you” (Isaiah 41:10). Turn to Him today. If fear has crippled you: may I call you and pray for you. Truly I would be honoured.
My 6yo was getting ready for bed last night and declared a PD day for today. It hasn’t even been a week of homeschooling 😑. I told him I’m the Principal and I will determine PD days. Which really will be the days I go into work. Besides being the teacher & principal, I am also the lunch lady and janitor. Oh the roles we have been given. #wecandothis💪
Praying for all the expectant mamas. What should be a time of joy is filled with worry about the unknown. They have really limited hospital visitors. Most units it’s NO visitors. And I believe the person who is with you during birth needs to leave shortly after. #wewillgetthroughthis the quicker we can flatten this dang curve the quicker we can get back to normal life.
