As our members’ financial partner for life, our goal is to educate them about ways to manage their account and reduce the potential for overdraft fees. Here are some easy tips to help members reduce their chances of overdrawing an account. Tip number one, members can set up low balance alerts for their accounts in Digital Banking. These alerts can warn members when their balance falls below a specified amount. If they haven’t enrolled in Digital Banking, members can visit www.FirstCommerceCU.org and click the enrollment link located under the digital banking login box on the home page. Scammers use email or text messages to trick you into giving them your personal information. They may try to steal your passwords, account numbers, or Social Security numbers. If they get that information, they could gain access to your email, bank, or other accounts. Scammers launch thousands of phishing attacks like these every day — and they’re often successful. #DontPayItForward Phishing emails and text messages may look like they’re from a company you know or trust. They may look like they’re from a bank, a credit card company, a social networking site, an online payment website or app, or an online store. Today's #WOWFriday highlights Bobby Waters, Member Service Representative at the Blairstone Financial Center. After assisting a member, Bobby received the raving comments below. “Good Afternoon Mr. Waters, I feel it necessary to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent service you provided to me yesterday. I came to you as a walk-in customer and you gave me the service that would be afforded to a millionaire, with an appointment seeking to open an account with you. You were very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and gracious. And I left your office with every need met. You also followed up with my son just as you said you would. I appreciate a man that keeps his word! You are a credit to your organization, young man. Please feel free to share my thoughts with them. As a longtime member of First Commerce, experiences like this one make me content to remain at your bank!” Wow! Thank you Bobby, for providing exceptional service and creating a financial partner for life.
