Letโs talk RATES. As the lockdown eases, and many makeup artists preparing to go back to work... you may be tempted to lower rates.... DONโT ๐ซโ โ Fear of losing clients short term can drive many of us to bring our rates down which creates a โrace to the bottomโ kind of culture. Creatives were often left with less even before Covid-19, so maintaining an industry standard is KEY as the economy bounces back๐๐โ โ Know your WORTH, and letโs all strive to keep the industry thriving ๐โจโ โ Do you agree? Weโd love to hear your thoughts ๐

Say it with us... โGET IT IN WRITINGโ As a beauty pro or freelance makeup artist, do you use contracts or service agreements before working with your clients or brands for photo shoots? ๐๐ธโ โ Using contracts and/or service agreements is super important, as it protects both you and your client. ๐โ โ As important as your client is, you also need to look out for your best interests. From payment terms to cancellation clauses, make sure your client understands your terms to save yourself any future hassle. And remember, agreements are ONLY legally binding when theyโre in writing ๐
