Hello VASTA Members!⠀ Please welcome Rachael Swartz, our new Social Media Manager for VASTA!⠀ Here’s a bit about Rachael:⠀ Rachael is a Milwaukee/Chicago based actor, director, vocal coach and educator. She is a Professor of Theatre/Coordinator of Musical Theatre at UW-Parkside and additionally serves on the Acting and Musical Theatre faculty for Interlochen Center for the Arts. She is a proud union member of both Actors Equity and Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. Rachael previously served as Education Director at Maples Repertory Theatre and The Clinton Area Showboat Theatre, Education Associate at Greenbrier Valley Theatre, and Director of Theatre Arts Camps at The Lost Colony. She is a member of the Musical Theatre Educators Alliance, Voice and Speech Trainers Association, and the Lessac Training and Research Institute. In addition to acting and directing, she has served as a voice, dialect, and text coach for⠀ productions in the U.S. and Philippines.⠀ ⠀ We’re excited to have Rachael continue keeping VASTA members connected through our social platforms and want to thank VASTA member and former social media manager Foster Johns for his years of service in this capacity.
