It’s a yucky day outside but I am looking forward to staying in PJs and getting caught up on some editing! As much as I love and really need an off season and it can be great having some Saturdays off I am so pumped for wedding season to get here! And for pretty days just like this 🥰
If you know me you know I am a really positive person.. I will find the silver lining in literally ANY situation. So I almost didn’t post this for fear of seeming negative but I have to be honest - It’s taken a little while for me to “get in the groove” in 2020! Maybe it’s a bit of seasonal depression - sunshine where you at?! 😩☀️ When the New Year started our feeds are filled with quotes and goals and diets. And that is great- I have those too! But I didn’t wake up on January 1 and feel different. I went from hustling hard and late nights to a slower pace and it kind of feels like someone just slammed on the brakes. I’ve needed to rest, read, find inspiration, set intentions and work on myself. It’s totally possible to love your life and job like crazy but also need some time to check in. And now I ready to run into everything this year has for me 💫 So all of this is to say- it you need a break take it. Don’t compare how you feel to the things you see online. Right now this is where you are meant to be. And, by the way, I am so grateful that you are here!! 💕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Moments right after you are finally pronounced married 🥰 These photos make my heart burst.. I know everything is digital now a days but I especially imagine these kind of photos printed out and future generations holding these and in awe of the day. *Pro-tip: After the wedding ceremony is a great opportunity for a photo-opp. An exit like this after a ceremony is always 👌🏻 and you can add bubbles, flower petals, or confetti for an extra fun pop!
I have been trying to think of an inspiration caption but I really just would love some recommendations! 😇 What are some shows/podcasts that you have been listening to?! I love having something to listen to while I am working!
Christmas is over and although I’ve been slow getting into the swing of things (this week I have been working on it! 😉) I am ready for spring and the sunshine to come back into my life now! ☺️ Sharing a few of my favorite photos from Sarah and Andrew’s engagement session because 2020 is going to be 🔥
Trying to get back into the swing of things and resist the “wait until Monday” thoughts but... old habits die hard I guess 🤣 2019 was a year unlike any other. I got married to my best friend and we made so many memories through that time, especially with friends and family. We went to Hawaii and it was amazing and I miss it every single day. I have had some major successes and some failures. 2019 is going to be hard to beat but I am also really looking forward to 2020. I am looking forward to finding our home, working towards rest, spreading love and navigating what the future holds ❤️ I did make a couple of goals that I hope I can work on! Do you believe in setting new goals for the New Year? I’d love to hear what they are!
