It was such a beautiful spring day. I walked 1.2 miles in short sleeves! And yesterday I got to hug my sister-in-law for the first time in a year! My heart is full. ❤️

This little Ocean Shores getaway has been SO good for our souls... especially my girl and I. My husband has zero issues working/being at home and is, in fact, thriving in the quarantine! My not-so-little adventure buddy and I love to experience new things and new places. #oceanshores #pnwadventures #oceanshoreswashington #winterbeachday #homeschoolfamilylife #homeschoolmom #familyroadtrip

The magical path to the ocean from our hotel. Yes, it’s cold. But the ocean is always a good idea - so was this little getaway, midweek in the off season. It’s been a sad, difficult year with loss, major life change, and lots of stress. Yet more changes are happening in the near future (new job for my husband, and moving, again... back into our repaired and remodeled house). Through it all, we hung with the lockdowns and tried to make the days as normal as we could. Still... this mama needs adventures. So now that it’s a bit safer, we decided on a little excursion somewhere close to home. #oceanshoreswa #oceanshores #upperleftcoast #homeschoolfamilylife #roadtrip2021 #homeschoolmama #iloveadventures #thebeachismyhappyplace #beachfordays #washingtonbeaches #winterbeachdays

We are lucky to have in-house tech support! 💕 My daughter wanted to be able to install Minecraft mods in Java on Mac - and this required installation of a JDK (Java Developer Kit). Hubby has coded in Java for practically his entire career... so I happily left this project on his capable hands. #minecraftideas #homeschoollife #homeschoolmom #minecraftmods #letslearnjava #coderdad #homeschoolfamily #justanormalthursday

Scenes from our remodel. It’s a very long process, pretty much continual #decisionoverload, and discovering all the problems underneath walls. But, we are grateful to have the ability to fix what needs fixing (big water leaks, a crazy not-to-code staircase, doors that open into other doors...) and to update all the early 80s-ness that was our house in the woods.
