{🪴 Celebrating} On Monday, I found out that my book, The Intuition Journal was announced as a finalist for the @bycacademy Beautiful You Annual Coaching Awards for best product of the year! I'm so incredibly humbled by this recognition as it means so much! As someone who never really considered myself to be a writer, let alone an author of an actual, physical book, receiving the nomination and email was a wonderful reminder of how our paths can unfold if we say yes. 👉🏼 It reminds me that I should say yes more to the things that: ⋗ Challange me to grow and get uncomfortable daily. ⋗ Nudges me to pick up a new skill. ⋗ Opens up a new perspective. ⋗ And makes me see that the thing I once thought was impossible, is now possible. ❤️ Huge congrats to the other finalists and the women @tracey__spencer @create_sparks @nicky_foulkes_coach @magdalenalopez.ch @lorenhoney_ who have created stellar products this year. It is an absolute honour to stand alongside you! ❤️ And the deepest of thanks to the amazing coach of coaches @julesyparker and her fab team for giving so many of us this opportunity to shine, holding a platform for us to share our offerings to the world and inspire us to be the best coaches we can! Thank you!!

{4 must haves for an effective brand identity package}Icons are just one of the design elements within your brand identity. In addition to your logo, icons can act as supporting characters in telling your brand's story. Along with the other visual pieces of your brand identity, each element acts to bring further cohesion, depth, integrity and clarity to your brand. 👉🏼 The result: A brand that truly resonates, connects with your dream customers and nurtures your business for sustainable growth. If you are looking to step into the next version of your brand, here are some tips on what to look for when considering a brand package. Here are 4 must haves for an effective brand identity package: ⋗ The design process should include mock ups of how your logo and other supporting visual elements (icons, patterns, colours, typography) are used together in context on brand applications like your website, business card etc. ⋗ It should include a strategic deep dive into your business, customers and brand. ⋗ It should come with at least two variations for your logo (eg small, circular, full, text only) so you can use it in a variety of applications. ⋗ It should include a brand style guide so you can continue to protect the integrity of your brand across different applications ⋗ It should feel like you are making an investment in your business and brand. 〰️ Do you have any questions on how to look for the right branding package for your conscious business? #brandcoach #brandingcoach #brandcreation #branddesigner #brandingexpert #brandguidelines #brandidentitydesigner #brandingmob #brandstyling #businessbranding #designadvice #fwportfolio #creativelogo #customlogodesign #logobook #logocreator #logodesignersclub #logohexa #logooftheday #logoxpose #logosix #logotypeclub #logoworlddesigners #madebymoyo #minimallogo #jochunyan #brandstrategy #brandidentity #brandstory #personalbrand

〰️ {3 things I changed in my brand design process} Over the years, I have tweaked and refined my brand design process. As business owners all aspects of our workflows will likely be in a state of evolution. This is natural because we will always be bringing in new ideas, learnings and experiences to improve our offerings for our clients. These changes have allowed me to: 👉🏼 Provide a better overall experience for my clients 👉🏼 To create a strong design solution that feels aligned and strategic 👉🏼 Create an efficient workflow which frees up time in my day 1. Client Onboarding: My process now begins with a focused coaching discovery consult to understand the biggest needs and challenges for their brand or business. It also involves a customised proposal that covers objectives, process, project scope, timelines and FAQ. Sources: @one6creative for teaching me her onboarding process. @thefutur for their amazing proposal templates 2. Brand Strategy These days, I create a customised questionnaire for my projects. I use a generic base questionnaire and add some specific ones too. @iamcatmclean_ (brand messaging strategist) and I do the strategy workshops together. We put together a joint presentation for the presentation of brand strategy detailing: messaging, positioning, attributes, ideal client, customer journey, creative direction. 3. Creative Direction Stylescapes are my best friend for the brand process. They are a blend of mood boards and initial concept design. They give the client a very clear and specific insight into what their identity / design would look like. Sources: @thefutur for showing me how to use stylescapes. I also have a mini training on my Facebook group - The Conscious Creative. Join to watch how I use it in my process. ✨Calling in all conscious business owners! Are you ready for a rebrand? 🍃{How to enter the flow state} Match what you are skilled at with something feels challenging. This could be doing something that you love but feel challenged by and are naturally skilled at. It does require your focus but you don't necessarily need to overthink every little step. 👉 High challenge + High skill = Flow State 👉 What is the flow state? This is defined as a state in which you are so involved in doing an activity in which your perception of time is skewed, creativity and clarity are increased. 👉 5 tips to get into the flow state: 1. Take a few minutes beforehand to ground yourself. You can't get into the flow state if you mind is racing with a million thoughts or if you are feeling stressed from the day. 2. Choose an activity that you are skilled at and feel comfortable and confident with. 3. Do this activity without distraction or multi-tasking. Cultivating a flow state is about the quality in how you spend your time, not about how quickly you can get things done. 4. Immerse yourself in the experience - bring your awareness to how you feel when doing this activity. Eg - how does it feel to spend your time writing, baking a cake, deep in design or moving through a yoga workout? 5. Practice! Getting into your flow state may take a little time. Experiment with adjusting how challenging your activity is. 💌 Calling all multi-passionate creatives & entrepreneurs - I have 4 coaching spots available my 4.5 month coaching series. Work with me to create your own intuitive system based on energy, focus, clarity and mindset that honours and aligns with your core values & the 2.0 version of you.

{How to create an emotional brand} 〰️As Maya Angelou said, "...People will not forget how you made them feel". This the same for your brand. ⠀ ⠀ People are more likely to make decisions based off emotions, rather than from cognitive thinking. This is because emotions affect us much faster than our rational, logical mind. It also has a more lasting impact when it is tied to a memory or experience.⠀ ⠀ 𐃏The Feeling Wheel, developed by Dr Gloria Wilcox can be used to explore how your brand can better connect with your ideal customer at an emotional level. ⠀ ⠀ The Feeling wheel consists of three parts:⠀ 1⃣The core: initial core feelings - non-specific⠀ 2⃣1st outer ring: specific feelings that can be discerned⠀ 3⃣2nd outer ring: the natural response to the specific feeling⠀ ⠀ 👉🏼Define the emotions and feelings:⠀ What are the specific feelings that your customer is currently experiencing or wanting to overcome? What feelings do they want to experience instead?⠀ ⠀ 👉🏼Dial-up the customer experience:⠀ How would your customer's feelings evolve over time? Create the experience to enhance the desired feelings or respond (2nd outer wheel) to their pain point. ⠀ ⠀ 👉🏼Bring it out in your branding⠀ Cultivate their desired feelings in your copy, brand messaging, story or mission. You don't have to be overly literal about this - just be intentional and empathetic.⠀ Represent these feelings in your visual brand too - colour, typography, design and imagery. ⠀ ⠀ 👉🏼Use the wheel as a guide - feel free to create your own adjustments if your feelings or emotions aren't on the wheel.⠀ ⠀ 💭Do you have an emotional brand? {6 Tips for planning your ideal work day} ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 1⃣Allow for time to connect and ground before your day gets crazy. Savour and prioritise your morning - even if it is just for 5 minutes.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 2⃣Plan out your day in a way that supports your body’s natural rhythm and energy. I base mine off dinacharya - ayurvedic system for daily routine and adjust to fit my own rhythm.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 3⃣Observe when you have the most energy, and when you feel tired or are reaching for that chocolate bar. Plan your breaks to balance out your energetic dips and peaks.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 4⃣Get clear on your most important tasks. Dedicate most of your time to this. What actions would move you towards your vision most effectively? ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 5⃣Use your breaks to truly rest and anchor back into your body - spend time in nature, being in the sun, move your body, or put your legs up the wall (rest pose).⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 6⃣Be open to adjustments. This is really an experiment to see what works well and what doesn't for you. So take note, observe and tweak your ideal day as you need to.⠀ ⠀ 〰️Now, of course, we won't always have ideal days - sometimes work life can get a bit messy. But its ok - keep tracking how you go. Work with a coach to stay accountable and work on shifting your mindset (as required). Try different approaches as you go along. Apply what you can based on your own life and how you work.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 💭How do you plan out your day?⠀ 💌I have a few coaching spots left for my 4 month series for Multipassionate creatives & entrepreneurs.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ 〰️Designed to help you move you through the overwhelm of too many ideas and task skipping so you can take action in alignment with your foundational core values & higher vision.
