First of all, going through old photos is bittersweet! Wow at how much Brooks has grown! Second, I never thought in a million years I would homeschool my child. I didn’t think I was capable, smart enough etc. I’ve seen my child blossom firsthand because I’ve been here following along. It’s been such a blessing in disguise! I really wanted to incorporate learning another language into his curriculum. If I’m being honest, I also have been wanting to learn another language to serve my clients better! I was thrilled when @babbelusa reached out and asked if I would try their learning app! We chose Spanish! I love how the app integrates sound, punctuation, and spelling. Let me tell you, Brooks is way better at learning this than me! I may not be able to carry on a full conversation yet, but I’m really excited to continue using #myBabbel ! I’m amazed at how fast Brooks is learning. I wish I would have had something like this when I was his age!

I think this wedding may be the wedding of all winter weddings 🙌🏻. It’s also making me want to leave Christmas tree up all year long! I shared this one in my stories the other day. I used a different film stock along with different lighting techniques to set the mood. 🥂

You guys! I’m shook! I woke up this morning thinking it was Wednesday, it’s Friday! How does this happen? I’ve had a busy week this week so maybe that’s why. I feel like time keeps passing by faster and faster. My mind is blown away. I can’t believe it’s the 8th of January! Anyone else feel this?

Heather and her son were some of my first clients years ago when I started my photography journey. Years later she sent me the sweetest message that she was engaged and she wanted me to be there for her on her wedding day! I felt incredibly humbled that she remembered me after all these years, and I’m so grateful to have captured her joy with her love Leo.
