We are so lucky! You raised around $3700 so far! We are more than half way there and have a few days left. This is Sam. He is settling into his foster home and has already been neutered. Please open your heart this Valentine’s Day week and help a dog in need❤️🐶Tripp, Charlie, Kit, Duke, Lucy and Sam all need your help. Sadly, New Years Eve was a terrible day for the family of an English Setter Breeder. He passed away unexpectedly and left behind his entire family including his dogs. We saw the plea for help posted by a friend of the family who said there were five dogs. Of course we said we could help! Five foster families were found very quickly and when the dogs were picked up for transport we received a call. There was a sixth dog!! We scrambled to find a foster and all six dogs were on their way. Once they were brought into rescue all six had their vaccines updated and had health assessments. We found out they had various health issues including whip worms, hook worms, Lyme disease, likely anaplasma. We had to board them until transport (which we generally do not do!) and with snow storms and cancelled transports the money keeps adding up. All of the dogs need to be neutered/Spayed and treated for their ongoing medical conditions. These dogs range in age from 4-8 and deserve to live a healthy life! So far we have spend over $6000 on the dogs. Normally we wouldn’t ask for donations but we also have three other dogs in rescue undergoing Heartworm treatment which is extremely expensive and depleting our funds rapidly. Would you please consider opening your heart this Valentine’s Day week and help a dog in need? Every single dollar counts. Every penny you donate to this fundraiser will go towards the vetting of Tripp, Charlie, Kit, Duke, Lucy and Sam. Our goal is $1000 a day for six days so that by the 14th, Valentine’s Day, we will have raised all the funds we are asking for❤️❤️❤️ You can donate through Facebook or on our website ABetterESetter.org #englishsettersofinstagram #rescuedogsofinstagram #donate #help #dogsrule

You guys are so amazing! We raised over $1200 on Monday and almost $200 yesterday. Our goal is $1000 a day. Let’s do it again today! Today’s dog is Tripp. Isn’t she lovely? She is a true Valentine’s Angel. This feisty girl is still waiting to make her way to her foster home. Trip has been brought up to date on vaccines, is being treated for whip worms and hook worms. She will be spayed and has extra boarding costs due to transport being canceled.
