Each week we love to feature an Artist-in-Residence within our program that exemplifies what it means to put in the work, add value to our community, and commits to implementing the strategies to grow their business. This week we're taking a moment to shoutout artist @fionadalrympleart , and the professional way she's been presenting herself with clients and through her online platforms! When you visit Fiona's Instagram feed, it is immediately clear she's found a balance in her posts. We love the consistency she's attained in displaying her work in bright areas, using natural light to show off each brushstroke. But one of the most unique aspects of her feed is how much you can see her WITH her artwork. Sharing yourself with your product can be a struggle for any artist, but we love how often she's showing up with her art so her clients know exactly who they're dealing with and who is making the art behind the scenes. We love how much we can see and connect with her because of her choice to be present in her feed!
When your art supplies are this beautiful how can you part with them? Artist @nataliedarkart collects the pencil stubs she’s used and we get it. We couldn’t toss those beauties either! Do you guys hang on to old supplies? Or maybe you love tossing empties to make room for new paint tubes? Where do you fall on the supply hoarding, I mean “collecting” spectrum?
You love good news too, right? One of our newest Artists-in-Residence @jenniferedstromart sold her very first painting today just 2 hours into her very first collection launch! We’re so excited that Jen is already seeing growth and results after one week in our program! If you’re ready and willing to put the work in change will happen. In this case that means making money from your art! Way to go @jenniferedstromart!
