Two pretty pieces for #turquoisetuesday , the necklace is currently available in the shop 🦋
Starting the week with a larger than life antique Egyptian revival buckle❣️
A beautiful 19th century French crown embellished with griffon dragons that has a little bit of history to it. When I got the crown home I realised it was marked with the words ‘A P. Eglise de Pierry’ along with another mark I have been unable to read. After a bit of research (and a lot of google translate) I was able to find the church of Saint-Julien de Pierry which is situated in Pierry in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France where the crown would have originally come from. After a bit more digging I was also able to find an old photograph of inside the church where you can faintly see the statues that this crown would have most probably adorned at one point. The crown has already been on a little journey from France to England over the past 100 years, I wonder where it will end up next 👑💛
A beautiful Georgian silver rivière pictured with a Victorian floral paste brooch. Both pieces will be going into the shop this Sunday if I can manage to part with them 🌸
A beautiful Art Deco snake bangle that reminds me of an ice cream sundae (nfs) 🍡🍨
A little collection of antique pieces with an underlying 🐍 theme.
Ending the week with the most beautiful Art Deco silver opal doublet ring. This will be going into the shop this afternoon along with a few more special pieces 🕊
Two of my favourite types of glass - saphiret & dragons breath. The Art Deco dragons breath necklace is going into the shop this afternoon, the heart pendant hopefully by Friday. Swipe for details⚡️
