This morning while reading my devotional and scripture, I read about Abraham’s journey. When Abraham was in his retirement phase and getting ready to settle down, God called him to go on a new journey. Abraham had to have the faith that this was what he needed to do, even though the easy decision would’ve been the opposite of what God was currently calling him to do. So what actually makes us do the thing that we know God is calling us to do even though it might be unchartered waters? It’s our faith. When you have enough faith, you’re able to take the leap. It’s so hard, but when you’re living in God‘s purpose for your life, you’ve got his superpowers on your side… And that’s when the miracles start to happen in your life‘s mission and journey.

This might seem trivial… But I feel like there is a bigger purpose in what I’ve experienced over the last 2.5 hours. So early this morning, I needed to pick something up from Walmart. When I went to pay for the things that I picked up, I realized that I didn’t have my wallet on me… and apparently Walmart doesn’t take Apple Pay, so I had to leave everything in the store. I ended up going back to my car, just thinking that I left it there, and I still couldn’t find the wallet. Kinda embarrassing. So I drove back home to get my wallet. Unfortunately I still couldn’t find it... ugh 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏾♂️ I told my wife and my daughter what happened and they have been on a scavenger hunt for the last hour or so to find this wallet. No luck. All the places that I went yesterday aren’t open yet, so I just decided to go back to Walmart, and go to the customer service/lost and found area Guess what?? Someone at Walmart turned in my wallet with nothing missing!!! I can’t even tell you how relieved I am. But it gets even better… The people that were in line (who I don’t know) started cheering.... I guess they overheard my conversation with the workers. And they were just happy for me… Because they’ve felt that feeling before and they know how relieving it is. I thanked the workers, I said bye to the people in line at customer service… And now I’m in my car writing this post. If you come onto this platform, or you turn on the TV, you’re seeing so many things right now that make you think that people are inherently bad. But let me tell you something, I believe that the majority of people are inherently good… Whether they are in Walmart, or they’re in your neighborhood, or at your workplace, there are still some really good people out there that just want a better life for themselves. We just sometimes have a difference of opinion in the best way to achieve that, because we’ve come from different paths or have had different experiences in life. So I’m not gonna get into anything political or anything negative, because you can just scroll your new newsfeed and you can see plenty of that. I just wanted to let you all know that there are great people still out there.
