Congratulations to our athletes and coaches on a successful spring season!
Baseball won the District Championship for the second consecutive year and advanced to the Division 1 Regional Final.
Lacrosse finished the regular season undefeated and advanced to the Division 2 State Semifinal Game.
Tennis faced a highly-competitive schedule and earned signature wins over Brecksville, Hawken, Massillon Jackson, and Solon. Dean Kirchick '24 advanced to the OHSAA State Championship in singles, and Rohan Sethi '23 and Rohit Talasila '25 advanced in doubles play.
Track & Field finished first at several invitationals this season, including Solon, Nordonia, and North. US had several athletes thrive at the District and Regional meets and saw Brian Kellon '23 qualify for the Division I State Championship in the high jump.

Upper School students finished the year with two days of immersive programming that aligns with our mission to develop young men of character who lead and serve.
Freshmen and Juniors visited Cleveland in partnership with the Cleveland Leadership Center for community experiences on the topics of their choosing, including arts and culture, entrepreneurial ecosystems, environment, hunger and food access, and housing and homelessness.

About 160 colleges and universities currently underwrite approximately 3,800 National Merit Scholarships in each annual competition.

Support for the Annual Fund provides important tools for our faculty to create new experiences for our students, enhance their own teaching practices, and further elevate even our strongest programs.
This summer, Mr. Pierce and Mr. McCarter will be working to design and implement a multi-disciplinary capstone project to provide our eighth graders with an experience that fosters stronger civic connections and builds relationships with our diverse community.

Mr. Neylon, Upper School Chef, received the Cawas "Carl" Kapadia Service Staff Award for his loyal and tireless dedication to University School.

Mrs. Farrell, Middle School English Teacher and FIRST Lego League Robotics Coach, received The Alumni Faculty Fellowship Award, which honors outstanding teachers who have contributed significantly to the quality of the Shaker Campus.
