We had a brilliant afternoon in UKS2 on our Inspiration Day this week! We built our own Chichen Itza pyramids, played a version of Pok-Ta-Pok (which was really tricky!) and created our own Maya glyphs and gods. We are super excited to find out more about the Maya and how they have helped shape our lives today!

UKS2 had an exciting start to the year when they got to taste test various chocolates and toppings as research for their DT this half term. As you can probably tell by some of our faces, some chocolates were more popular than others!

Now we know which flavours we enjoyed, we can make a bar of chocolate for our buddies! 🍫😆

KS1 ran to investigate after a shock announcement was made in the classroom… **a spaceship had crash-landed in our school grounds!** 🚀👽

The children discovered a mysterious spaceship, green slime, green glitter and lots of other strange clues. But who does the spaceship belong to? And where has its owner gone?

We can’t wait to explore this mystery further in our English lessons this week! ✨

🌟 What a wonderful first day in Ruby Class! 🌟
We have had such a lovely day getting to know each other and sharing stories about what we got up to during the holidays. In Maths, we have been grouping and sorting, while in English we have been exploring The Colour Monster. The children had lots of fun creating their own monsters and using our secret pens to discover and write common exception words. ✏️

The children have settled back into school so quickly and are already becoming super confident in their new class. I am so proud of them all and cannot wait for the exciting year ahead!

What a fantastic day at Summer Club! ☀️

Today has been packed with fun – baking, making slime and ‘squishy dumplings’, painting, designing our own pencil cases, and enjoying outdoor play in the sunshine with lots of games including circuits, what time is it Mr Wolf and hide and seek.

We also loved exploring and discovering in our wildlife area. 🌳

What a brilliant day at Holiday Club 🤩

We started with pebble decorating and outdoor games, followed by apple picking and crumble making. This afternoon was all about pizzas 😋 children made the dough from scratch and then added their favourite toppings 🍕 we finished with a pizza party just before home time!

A huge thank you to our fabulous PTFA for treating us to such a wonderful end of year celebration with our buddies – a silent disco in the sunshine! ☀️🪩

It was truly magical to take off our headsets and hear the children singing their hearts out while dancing with their buddies and friends. Moments like these are what memories are made of. 💛
