Je me suis inspiré de l’œuvre « Fish in Space » de Nora Blansett. Mais la plus belle surprise de cette collaboration fut de découvrir que mon gâteau a à son tour servi d’inspiration au designer Michael Ryan Andolsek qui en a fait une magnifique robe de soirée ! THE MEANING BEHIND MY CAKE I have recently been participating in numerous collaborations, each and every one with a different energy! The 2020 edition of the collaboration Sugar Art for Autism has come to me and I absolutely needed to participate! I am thrilled to be able to contribute raising autism awareness as well as learning and discovering more and more about this topic at the same time! I was absolutely amazed to discover all the creations made by artists with autism. But Nora Blansett's work caught my attention because of its colors, its light, its joy. I immediately decided to work on her piece Fish in Space and I really enjoyed doing it! With the respect that the author deserves, I hope I have been able to capture the essence of her art in my cake. To make my cake, I used sugar paste and gumpaste, wafer paper to create the movement of the fish's fins and isomalt to make the helmet.
