This term, Year 3 had a wonderful trip to Celtic Harmony to consolidate their history learning of the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. There was a trading activity, mammoth hunting and den building!

Mulberry have been investigating Perfect Numbers. We had to describe what our perfect number was and then had to follow mathematical criteria to find all the perfect numbers up to 50. We needed to work systematically and cooperatively, as well as using our maths knowledge.

As part of the whole school learning on Black History Month, Year 6 explored a timeline of Black British History. They discussed what surprised and shocked them and then decided what they would like to find out more about. They used the Chromebooks to research their chosen event and produced a google slide presentation on it. We all learnt a lot about Black History and really enjoyed the lesson.

Year 4 have been practicing their times tables through games. This week's focus was the 6 times table.

They worked hard to draw and label the cycle, then we brought it to life by creating our very own mini water cycle in a sandwich bag. 🌞➡️💧➡️☁️➡️🌧️

Now we get to observe evaporation, condensation and precipitation in action right in our classroom windows! 🪟🔍
