• “After the ceremony, myself, Ashley, and Estevan took a getaway car to the Santa Fe plaza. It is one of the most fun things in the world to me to walk around a public area with a freshly married bride and groom. The honks from passersby, the yells of congratulations from strangers. Whenever wedding photos are taken in a place like this, you just know you made so many peoples’ days.

Not only that, but the colorful Santa Fe Plaza is home to endless amounts of art and places to explore. This place is a top tier wedding getaway location. Even for just a few minutes.”

Ashley and Estevan’s wedding is on the blog! So many amazing vendors came together to make this wedding a work of art. Make sure to check out their pages listed in the first paragraph!

Link is in the bio! 😊

  • I’m starting to plan my first trip back home to Rhode Island for the first time since June! Very excited for my east coast weddings and of course, seeing my family and friends again. And the beach 😅

Speaking of the beach, what’s the deepest you would feel comfortable swimming out to from shore? Just toes? Where your feet don’t touch the bottom? Staying on the sand entirely?

  • So thankful for this guy who was patient with me at every step of making this photo 😂
- setting up my tripod on a table so the camera could hover over us
- waiting for a stray cloud to come by and block the sun for good lighting
- the camera remote app not working
- laughing over nothing with me to appear natural
- me going to edit and having a dramatic period-fueled cry over hating my thin hair (anyone got some of that self love I could borrow 😂)
- him offering so many words of encouragement and hugs
- me asking to try again
- waiting for another cloud
- still smiling and laughing with me to get the photo I want

Man this one. My life would suck without him.

  • Making a wedding list can be the most daunting task of wedding planning. Time and time again, when I ask my couples “what is your biggest pain point of wedding planning?”, they say “figuring out who I want as a guest at my wedding”.

Especially in the time of Covid, cutting a guest list is no longer just a point of budgeting. Couples all throughout 2020 and 2021 have had to cut down on guests either for safety or state restrictions. It’s a real fun time (not).

I wanted to help these couples make these difficult decisions. BUT I myself have not had a wedding. I took to the internet to ask past brides and grooms how they went about it! There’s tons of tips in my most recent blog post (click the link in the bio!)

• “We had a “last name rule”: If BOTH of us don’t know the persons last name, it’s a hard ‘no’.”

• “If I won’t be genuinely excited to see someone on my wedding day, and they won’t be 100% authentically there to support me and my fiancé, then they aren’t invited!”

•“Best advice I got, Treat it like you’re going to dinner. If you’re willing to pay for the whole meal for those people that’s how you should approach it.”

  • Resurrecting this shoot from over 3 years ago to add some punk to my feed and to remind everyone it’s okay if you’re still getting down to My Chemical Romance and Taking Back Sunday cause I sure am ❤️

What’s your favorite band from the early 2000s?
