We went on an exciting Easter egg hunt, searching for eggs numbered 1β11. Using clues to guide us, we explored all around the school, working together to find each egg in the correct order. Once we had collected them all, we returned to the classroom and carefully arranged the eggs from 1 to 11. To finish off the fun, we enjoyed eating the delicious chocolate eggs as a special Easter treat! π£π« #egghunt #eastereggsπ£

π«π·πͺπΈ Language Learning at Westville πͺπΈπ«π·
French and Spanish are an important part of life at Westville! Today, our PP3/4 pupils have been busy writing simple sentences in French. This term, theyβve been learning the language through the story of a puppyβnaming objects in French, exploring the things he loves to do, and identifying the places he likes to visit.
French is taught throughout the school by a language specialist teacher, while Spanish is introduced in Form 4 and also offered as an after-school activity.
At Westville, we believe that learning a second language from an early age brings incredible benefits. It supports memory, creativity, and problem-solving, while also building confidence and cultural understanding. Most importantly, it helps our children grow into curious, capable, and globally-minded learners πβ¨ #frenchlessons #spanishlessons #languages #learningisfunwithus #specialistteacher
