🔥 🍂 The child-led sessions are now fully underway, and the children have been having a great time. They’ve enjoyed activities like fire lighting, whittling sticks, crafting with clay, and toasting marshmallows. Making waffles quickly became a new group favourite! Online Safety

As technology becomes more integrated within our lives, so does the need for making sure our children are able to navigate it confidently and safely. At Westville House School, the children have regular online safety assemblies with Mr Baldwin in addition to the online safety coverage in PSHEE and Computing lessons.

Our online safety provision follows the Education for a Connected World framework from the UK Council for Internet Safety. In accordance with this framework, online safety is organised into 8 areas: Self-image and identity; Online relationships; Online reputation; Online bullying; Managing online information; Health, well-being and lifestyle; Privacy and security; and Copyright and ownership.

⛷️ We had an unforgettable trip to Alpe d’Huez in France, staying at the Valle Blanche Club Hotel. Over 6 incredible days, our students enjoyed 4 hours of ski lessons each day with fully qualified ESF instructors, building confidence and skills on the slopes.

From Form 1 through to Form 4, we took 22 children on a true trip of a lifetime—embracing the mountains, challenging themselves, and creating memories that will stay with them forever.

With fantastic evening activities and a brilliant atmosphere throughout, this experience was another huge success. Westville is proud to have now run 5 successful ski trips, each one inspiring adventure, resilience, and lifelong friendships. 🎿
