What a fantastic day at the ‘Sedbergh Prep at Casterton’ Cross Country Race, with over 600 runners taking part! 🌟
We are incredibly proud of every one of our runners. The effort, determination and team spirit on show were exceptional. 💙
A special mention to our Under 9 boys, who produced an outstanding performance to finish 3rd out of 16 schools! 🥉👏
And our girls absolutely smashed it too, showing fantastic determination and giving it their all! 👏💪

Our Design & Technology class has been busy putting creativity into practice! The children have been designing and making their own cereal boxes, thinking carefully about colour, shape, branding and presentation.
From cutting and constructing to adding eye-catching designs, they’ve shown fantastic creativity, problem-solving and attention to detail. 📦🎨✂️

Inspired by performance-based charcoal practices from the artist HEATHER HANSEN, the children experimented with whole-body drawing, discovering how a single movement can become a line, a shape, or an entire landscape.
A beautiful reminder that art isn’t always about the finished picture—it’s about movement, process and experience.

What an amazing time we had at Murton Park last week!
Our students stepped back in time to explore what life was like for evacuees during World War II. Through a fantastic range of interactive activities, they learnt about evacuation, air raid precautions and what daily life was like during wartime.
