• Ooof. This was a tough one. This Bixonic Expandora arrived in the shop like this - a victim of a previous botched repair attempt. We’ve worked on these pedals several times. The cheap footswitch is the Achilles Heel. Prior to replacing, you need to desolder the input / output jacks from the pcb in order to remove it from the enclosure. My guess is the previous “tech” wasn’t aware of this and attempted to remove the switch without doing that. As a result, all the solder pads were destroyed. This pedal required some major surgery. The repair doesn’t look the prettiest but it’s solid and should last forever.
