“Nobody wants to drink poison.” That’s what unforgiveness is — hoping someone else feels the pain while it slowly poisons you.
Following up on Sunday’s message: conflict hurts everyone involved. So instead of holding onto it, here are the Four G’s to help you move toward healing 👇
✝️ Glorify God — Let honoring Christ guide you, not winning the argument. Ask: will this display His love?
👀 Get the log out of your eye — Examine your own heart first. Own your part before pointing fingers.
🤝 Gently restore — Speak truth with humility. Share how you were hurt, listen well, and invite repentance.
🕊️ Go and be reconciled — Take the first step. Apologize, make it right, set healthy boundaries, keep checking in.
Practical next step: Pray for courage. Reach out. Ask for a time to talk. The Gospel gives us the grace to forgive — take one brave step and let healing begin. 💙
