🇬🇹 Mission Trip Update from La Cuchilla, Guatemala! 🇬🇹

Today was all about cultural exchange and connection with the beautiful women of La Cuchilla! 💛

We had the privilege of learning how to prepare pepian de pollo, a beloved traditional Guatemalan dish, straight from the incredible women of the community. Their hospitality, warmth, and culinary skills were truly inspiring! 👩🏽‍🍳🍲

In return, we shared a little taste of home by teaching them how to make a classic apple dump cake—and it was a sweet success! 🍏🎂

After cooking, we all sat down to enjoy the delicious meal together—laughing, sharing stories, and growing closer as a community.

As a small token of gratitude, we gifted the ladies with some fun Gethsemane sunglasses 😎—and their smiles said it all!

Grateful for days like these where hearts, cultures, and faith come together. 💕

Yesterday was filled with meaningful connection as they:

🙏 Spent time in discipleship with the children
🎉 Shared laughter and fun through games and activities

As we continue to partner with Children’s HopeChest in Guatemala, we have the opportunity to sponsor additional children.
