Let's play two truths and a lie! 🙃 1. I've been to Montenegro. 2. I've never ridden on a motorcycle. 3. I have a nose ring. Leave a comment below to let me know which one you think is a lie!
I don't know what I would have done without our dogs over the last few weeks. Anyone else getting a little extra emotional support from their fur babies because of all of this? 🙋🏼♀️ These pups of mine deserve all the treats!
It unexpectedly started downpouring during the last few minutes of Katelyn & Anthony's ceremony last June. The guests who didn't have umbrellas got out of their chairs and literally sprinted toward the nearest trees for cover. When it started getting really bad, a friend of the couple got up to hold an umbrella over Katelyn & Anthony so they could stay somewhat dry during their vows and the big kiss. But, to me, their faces in this photo say it all. Even though it was absolutely pouring, they still have the same huge WE JUST GOT MARRIED smiles that they would have had if the sun was shining. Life is all about perspective and these two (and their guests) didn't let an unexpected thunderstorm and sopping wet hair and clothes stand in the way of them having a great reception. They laughed louder, smiled harder, and stayed positive through it all! Even if things don't go exactly how you planned them to go on your wedding, at the end of the day you're still going to be married to the love of your life, and I promise that's really all that matters. 🖤 Love will continue to win, no matter what!
After being cooped up in the house for so long, 50 degrees and sunshine is starting to feel tropical to me. Anyone else? 🙃
Guess what? It’s okay if you don’t read 30 books or write a memoir or workout everyday during quarantine. It’s okay if you’re just doing your best to stay afloat. These are weird times and we’re all in this together! Everyone is facing unprecedented situations and we’re ALL grieving different losses due to this virus. Keep getting up in the morning, keep moving forward (even if it’s baby steps), and keep focusing on the positives. Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t feel like you’re doing “enough” or being “enough” right now. Be gentle with yourself. We’re all learning as we go and we’re going to make it to the other side of this thing. 🖤
Hey friends, I hope you’re staying safe and healthy! I’m going to be taking a little break from Instagram. I think at this point, the constant stream of information, news, opinions, etc. is taking a toll on my mental and emotional health and I want to be at my very, very best when I’m able to start shooting again! I’ll definitely be back to Insta, but I just don’t know exactly when! If you’re a current or future client (as always) you can reach me at
🖤 Stay healthy, stay inside (unless absolutely necessary), and, if you need a social media detox buddy let me know! Photo: @flytographer
On a scale of 1-10 how cute are your quarantine clothes right now? I'm definitely closer to the 1 side of things, but I'm trying to do little things every day to make sure I still feel like myself. Whether it's working out, curling my hair, or just changing into a different pair of leggings (no shame), it's probably going to be the little things help me get to the other side of this thing with my sanity intact!🖤
Wow. I am so thankful for this guy! His patience and ability to stay positive through adversity is incredible! Double tap you’re feeling extra grateful for the people in your life! 🙋🏼♀️ **Disclaimer: I’m not currently in Hawaii. We got back well before quarantines and social distancing was a thing here in the States. Trust me...I’ve been in my home faaaaar too long already, but I’ll stay here as long as it takes to make sure we flatten the curve!
