It’s another wedding Saturday! Headed to southern Maryland today for what looks like a gorgeous day with some even more beautiful people! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Wedding day tip: make sure your getting ready areas are well lit, preferably with natural light! If your bridal suite is lacking windows or doesn’t give you enough room to breathe and twirl around a bit, no worries— we will still be sure to find a spot to grab some dreamy, romantic getting ready and detail shots!

Leaving a little breathing room in between events throughout the day makes all the difference with staying relaxed and being able to live in the moment!

Happy Friday friends! I’m jumping on the #fridayintroduction bandwagon this morning to share a couple of my favorite things about weekends before we get on the road to enjoy a little weekend away with the fam! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ♡ Sleeping in a little on Saturdays, even though I have two high-energy human alarm clocks who get me up by 8 (hey, I’ll take it over the crazy hour I get up during the week!) ♡ Saturday soccer games with the littles ♡ When I’m not shooting a wedding, I always try to make time for things that bring me peace; extra devotional time, tending to my plant babies, creative projects, getting out out and exploring, or going for a long walk ♡ Sunday mornings at @citylightvineyard (where you might just find me behind the lens) ♡ Setting aside time each Sunday for a mini adventure with my boys, and weekly family dinner/game time ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend?
