Mother’s Day. A day I look forward to celebrating every year. A day where my timeline is filled with loving posts about moms, their loved ones, and their journeys. It’s a sweet day to celebrate everything us mother’s have accomplished. And a day to take a nap, drink a bottle of mimosa, and relax too. 😉 And today wouldn’t be possible without my incredible and supportive husband @mr__twitchy (who also took a couple of these photos!) and my son Archer who makes me proud every single day. Happy Mother’s Day to all you bad ass mother’s, however that journey may look to you. ❤️
I've done a lot of food photography for @knottsberryfarm over the past year, but this year they hired me for my biggest project yet. All of the photography for their 100th anniversary cookbook. Today I got the book. To be a part of their history like this, to see MY photo printed on the front cover, to see my name printed right there in the front AND the back of the book. Every recipe has my photo attached to it. I am blown away that I get to hold this book in my hands and know that I was a part of it all. That for the next 100 years Knotts Berry Farm will be selling this book filled with my art. I am honored, and so so so proud of myself. Especially with how much this pandemic has affected my business, I needed this today. The tears keep flowing. DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE YALL! ohhhhhh sourdough. Starters, bread flour, waiting for it rise, dutch oven baking. Anyone else on the sourdough train!? Because I can't stop won't stop. I've been perfecting my method to get my ideal gluten structure and crumb texture. #sourdoughnerd

I've been in the kitchen, baking and cooking A LOT more lately, as I'm sure pretty much everyone else is too. But making delicious things that are also pretty, and then photographing them, has been such a fun hobby for me. So here you go, homemade sous vide lemon blueberry creme brûlée.
