🥔 The Humble Spud...It’s a close call between Dauphinois and Fondants as to which is our favourite! We thought we would share with you our Delicious Dauphs recipe! Copious cream and garlic make this a super indulgent side dish! Tag us with you attempts and let us know if you like the recipe! @staub_uk @miele_gb 🥔🥔🥔 Ingredients 400g of potatoes (Jackets) 3 garlic cloves 300ml milk 200ml double cream pinch of nutmeg 4 sprigs of thyme salt pepper Method To prepare the Dauphinois Peel and thinly slice the potatoes on a mandolin or with a chefs knife. Place in water until needed. For the sauce add the chopped garlic, thyme, nutmeg, milk and cream in a large pan and bring to the simmer. Drain the potatoes and layer them up ensuring you overlap them as you go in a lined baking tray, pour over the cream solution and bake in a pre-heated oven at 160oc and bake for 45 minutes. There you have it. Enjoy 👨🍳
