The books that we ordered with the Readathon money from @scholastic_uk have arrived and are already in our libraries! They include books about maps, politics, forces, poetry, friendship, climate change as well as new fiction books! The children are so excited to read them and some have already been signed out! Thank you to all of the children, parents and staff for their brilliant book suggestions 📚 🗺️ 🌎🧲 @scholastic_uk @scholasticuk_bookjoy @readforgood

Nursery have been learning about pets and vets this week. Today, the children met a real dog called Albie! Mrs Gauci told us some information about her dog and how she looks after him. The children had a turn at feeding Albie his favourite treats too! Thank you for coming to visit us Albie ❤️

A huge congratulations to one of our Y4 children who competed in the under 10s London Junior Chess Championship. Playing brilliantly, enough points were won to qualify for the next competition. We cannot wait to hear the result. Good Luck! 🍀♟️🍀

Our wonderful MPS elves (aka the brilliant staff team) have been hard at work transforming the school into our very own Winter Wonderland. Our programme of performances start next week and we cannot wait! ⛄️❄️🎄

In Day Care we’ve been reading’My Granny Went to Market’. We went on our first Day Care trip of the year to our local supermarket. We bought some delicious fruit, cut it up together and shared it for snack. 🍎🍌🍉🫐

A well-deserved Head Teacher Award for a pupil who extended their understanding of the Pentatonic Scale, composing and notating their own Pentatonic piece for cello - the instrument they learn at home and in school. Bravo! 🤩

Nursery have been learning about keeping their teeth healthy. They had a special visit from the dentists at Belgravia Dental Care. Dr Guillermo spoke to the children about brushing their teeth twice a day for two minutes. The children also had a go at practising this in class! #eyfs
