  • Often when I'm carving personalized pumpkins I try to picture whom the recipient is. I imagine what they might look like and where they will place their pumpkin. This one has been my favorite person to imagine so far. She must be an absolutely FABULOUS Glammy! Way more hip and in-style than I'll ever be, now or when I'm a Grandma! I imagine she's fun and although she's glamorous I bet she gets on the floor and plays with her grandchildren. She knows all the fun places to take her grandkids when they visit her and she most definitely sneaks them gum. If you've read this far and are wanting a personalized pumpkin of your own, the deadline is April 15 at midnight (sort of like the IRS, but more fun.) We get LOTS of questions about how to order so here's what you do: 1. Go to www.mortonpottery.com 2. Click on shop pottery 3. Click on custom pumpkins 4. Choose your size, style and color 5. At check out you can choose free local pickup at the Morton Chamber of Commerce or shipping (anywhere in US!) 5. Orders will take 14-16 weeks. A normal pumpkin takes 3-4 weeks just to create. With the amount of orders we have and managing our kiln volume we need at least 3-4 months at this point. This is why we are cutting orders off now. If we want to get them done in time for Fall/Pumpkin Fest/Halloween we need to work on them now. This then allows us all of Fall to work on Christmas items in the studio!   • Between running four businesses and raising two active children, a semi-annual visit to @mortondentistry feels like a spa day to me! Not even joking! Hear me out: I get to lay on a cushy chair for 30 minutes and not have to do anything while they make my smile healthy and shiny! Plus Dr Manny and his staff are super nice and always make us feel like a million bucks over both of our Never-Needed-Braces smiles (here's hoping our kids got the straight teeth gene too!)
