Had the most amazing time hosting for @southbankcentre at the Imagine Childrens Festival, chatting with childrenโs author & illustrator @nick.easty and the ledge that is @radioleary about his new childrenโs book #tototheninjacatandthesuperstarcatastrophe ๐ ๐ ๐ I just love how the book is about the secret life of cats with some lovely messages of inclusivity, accepting people and winning in the face of adversity along the way. Itโs definitely a story that makes the imagination run wild at what our pets get up when weโre out the house ๐ค๐ I mean, I was the kinda child that was CONVINCED my teddies came to life. I canโt tell you the amount of times Iโd wait outside my door and burst in and expect them to be moving BUT NO total stillness! EVERYTIIIIIIIIME ๐ They must have known I was coming somehow ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ๐ Did anyone else do this as a child or was it just me?(itโs fine if itโs just me, I had a big imagination.. still do ๐ค)So I just know I would have loved this book as a kid but tbh I loved it as an adult.
