I hear you like timelapses of people working 👀 Promise I'll put a painting and peeling one up next 😂
Update on the invisible tiny house terrariums! Here's the very first one we (Andy and I) made on the left. It has been going well for a couple of months now with its greenery inside. The second one we made (on the right) is a work in progress... I have a few design tweaks to make (adjust the chimney, and overall depth so that it fits into a post box!) and then I'm hoping to open up orders. Hopefully it'll be soon, we'll see 🤣🤞💕🤷♀️
Oh hey new vases! 👀 Got a small shop update happening tonight from 7pm AEST (that's Brisbane, Australia time). From my stories I know alot of you are keen on the bats and teapot styles... I want to make more too but can't decide what colours? 🤷♀️ More pink? Sparkly white?
Here's a time lapse mini tutorial featuring the finished piece from my post earlier. I'm coming from a 'plant killer' background and slowly learning how to grow and keep things alive 😂 This plant was a clipping that my friend at the @luckycat_cafe gifted me (thanks Katie!). I let it grow a little in my propagation rack and potted it in it's new vessel today. I've learnt that putting a layer of pebbles in the base will aid for drainage (so the roots don't get too wet, classic newbie mistake). BUT, for now I'll intentionally keep the soil a little more moist (while the plant transitions). I'll share updates as this plant bby settles in. FYI, these bat planters are now available ongoing in my online shop if you might like to join me in surrounding yourself with kawaii planters 😂🤞💕
I posted this picture this morning and then I got weird and deleted it... I thought that I didn't want to share a photo of my planters 'flat' (the long, rectangular pieces), because I thought that would take away the magic of how they're made (I heat them and then roll them like sushi, it's actually really fun).... or, I thought that someone might see how they're made and you know, make their own 🤷♀️ But then I remembered that not sharing something because you think it might get 'copied' is kinda silly, and that inspiring people to get creative is WAY FUN... and there's always enough to go around anyways! So hey, here's my fresh laser cut pile (for things I'm going to make this week). Maybe this post will inspire you to make a creative project happen that has been on your brain (or that has just come to you!); that'd actually be just great 😘 Have any questions about laser cutting? Ask below and I'll help!
I've been really enjoying long names: 'Kindle of Kitten Collectable Trios'. Sweet lil' brooch sets in a heart tin, featuring kitten faces with ALL the feels 💕 #spottheface #madetoorder
I'm such a fan of @elroseabel and her beautiful illustration work 😍 I fan girled ALOT when she adopted this bat planter from my shop!
Now taking orders to make these lamps happen. USB plug in, with an on/off switch for ease of use. Soft, romantic white light in a minimal white LED base 💕 www.clubbyclutter.bigcartel.com
OML this flower arrangement from @northsideflowermarket is so dreamy! 😻 There are 8 kitten vases (various colours and emotional expressions) available in my online shop now (worldwide shipping available) 💕 www.clubbyclutter.bigcartel.com
This is my 'clutter' room (for crafting, drawing, etc). I spy bat and teapot vases to share soon, do you? Other favourites: Andy's 3D printer, the gun vase from @bad.geisha, and my plant babies flourishing in the Munchin plant propagation rack.
Here's a process video for you! I'm calling these 'Kindle of Kittens Collectable Brooch Pin Trios'. They come in this lil' heart tin 😻 Tools and materials used are: laser engraved and laser cut acrylic (via @vectoretch), Uni POSCA paint pens, weld on, e6000, trusty tweezers, cleaning toothbrush, and my fav blue cleaning cloth 💖 Available via my shop www.clubbyclutter.bigcartel.com
Introducing these LED art lamps 😻 A special collab with my boyfriend (he's making the bases, I'm making the artwork panels). These create a stunning soft night light when on, and look great not illuminated as a decorative art piece. My favourite features: the artwork panels are interchangeable, there's an on/off switch, and it simply plugs into any USB port for power. Simple and stunning. Available via my shop www.clubbyclutter.bigcartel.com
'Munchkin Kitten' plant propagation racks 💕 Available via my shop www.clubbyclutter.bigcartel.com
Flash back to when I was really into doing these custom pet portraits. I'm warming to the idea of doing these again sometime, mostly because people would tell me funny things their pets would do and that brought me joy 😻
First look at a prototype of these 'Invisible Tiny House Terrarium Kits' that I've been drawing and making recently - something I would like to sell in my online shop ongoing (eventually). They'll be made to order and measure around 15cm all 'round, plus come with the basics to get your terrarium started. My favourite highlights: cat door, chimney, door mat, removable roof for ease of use. Terrariums are ideal for those who believe they are 'plant killers' because they're super low maintenance and are ideal for planting ferns and moss!
