2020 was such an amazing year for us at @formulabotanica. Not only did we help thousands of people learn how to formulate, but I also significantly invested in my team and my business by hiring 25 new staff members. Happy New Year! How was your break? I spent a lot of time reading and trying to unwind from work, which is why I didn’t say much on social media. I’m a member of my local village book club so decided to spend some of my time choosing my book pick for 2021. I landed on the crime thriller “Our House” by @louisecandlish which had me totally gripped - what a fantastic read. 😱 How did you relax over the holidays? And what are you reading right now?📚 #bookclub

Happy Winter Solstice! 🎄 It’s been a fantastic year for us at Formula Botanica. My team has grown enormously since the start of the year, so most of us got together to finish 2020 with a party on Zoom. We’ve montaged together some of the best photos so you can see how awesome it was. Being virtual doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun together. 🥳 We dressed up 🤶🎅, brought props, took part in a raucous (and very competitive...) scavenger hunt and enjoyed a nice drink / meal at Formula Botanica’s expense. 🥂 It’s a shame we couldn’t all be together in person, but given that we’re spread across 12 countries, going virtual was always going to be more successful! I am so grateful for my amazing team. This year, we’ve taught over 140,000 people how to formulate and become indie beauty entrepreneurs through our free and paid online courses. 🌿🎓 None of this would have been possible without my team’s care, hard work and dedication and the many hours they put in to make sure that our students have a great experience studying with us and that we succeed in our mission of teaching the world to formulate.
