Who doesn’t love a before (swipe to see the before) and after project! 🤩 I’m going to do a huge kitchen pantry project and then I’ll install more shelves on the other side of the TV and maybe one above the TV, too! It looks SO much more homey and organized in our gaming room now and it smells like wood and stain which is 🤌🏻🥴 And for those curious (but more because I want to brag 😅🥸) the second shelf from the top is bagged up board games, third is legos and crayons/colored pencils in the basket, and bottom two are toys. The boxes below the consoles are the games, cords and controllers for each system. YAY!!

I forgot just how insanely beautiful out neighborhood is 😍 🍁 We’ve been going on rain-or-shine afternoon walks for the last couple days and I’m realizing that my mental health has been on a steep decline over the last couple months. We haven’t been getting outside at all, we’ve been cooped up and non-social, all on screens way too much, etc. ⚡️ Quarantine is hard, but hopefully some new routines of making dinner together, reading with the kids, going for afternoon walks, daily guitar practice for T, and easy crafts during the day will help to turn those quarantine blues around 💙 How are you all coping with a year of COVID? A quick kitchen organization DIY that took me about 5 minutes! 👩🏻🔧 5 minutes ago, we had a knife block on the counter for some of our knives and the other half of our knives were on the side of the silverware drawer (swipe for before picture) 🙃 Now both the silverware drawer and the counter is less cluttered and I don’t have to worry about little fingers when they’re digging around in the drawers! And bonus: the wood happens to match my spice rack that I built recently 💪🏻 I found the two wooden-with-hidden-magnets knife wall hanger on Amazon for about $11 each and the Gorilla Glue mounting tape for $6. Just stick the tape to the back, use a level to stick it to the wall and you’re done! 🛒 What’s an area that you struggle with in your kitchen or home? Halloween Part 1! From oldest to youngest, we had Fortnite’s Omega, True (and the Rainbow Kingdom), blue Power Ranger and Spider-Man 🕷 We made glow in the dark eyeball slime, spray painted (and failed with finger painting) pumpkins, trick or treated, and ate pumpkin shaped pizza 🍕 We ended the night watching Captain America to kick start our weekly movie night at Grandma’s! 🛡 What were you and yours dressed up as this year?? 🎃 
Chess! Who knew that the kids would LOVE chess?! They went through the biggest phase earlier this year where the 4 and 7 years olds would play game after game of it. ♟ There’s this really neat game called Story Time Chess that we highly suggest. It’s great for kids (and adults) who want to learn all of the difference pieces and general gameplay. Pulled rabbit meat for our favorite German Rabbit Stew! Rabbit meat is seriously delicious, tasting very similar to chicken but with a richer flavor and slightly chewier texture. 🧄 Basically anything that you can make with chicken, you can make with rabbit.
