I'm a little late to the game because I have a newborn but I am going to have to chime in here and wish a VERY happy anniversary to the couple that gave me the most memorable wedding of my career. Happy one year Laura and Grant. I'm sure you are making something wonderful and creative with all of this downtime. Wishing you many more brilliant years to come!
Passing days go by and people from 2020 are having to re-schedule. This is giving a lot of time to realize just how much LIFE we live when we come together for these wonderful wedding moments. Happy belated anniversary to Derek and Val this month! I can’t wait until the day comes again when the big group of us can get together again and party and BS into the night. 2021 WATCH OUT Love you! @snapshotlopes @trevortraynor where you at?!
Happy anniversary to the unforgettable souls.. @devonmadison and Ian. Seems like just yesterday and so much life has happened.
Simplicity is everything. @coralulubell downloaded the DIY maternity photo guide and did all of these photos on her iPhone!!! I can’t pick a favorite but honestly this one might be it! Share the link in my bio and tag all of your pregnant friends that can’t have professional photos during this time in quarantine. The guide is free and it’s been so fun to see everyone’s beautiful shots coming out. #babywereinthistogether
Can I just say.. mic drop from the goddess @coralulubell who just slayed her DIY maternity shoot with hubs @dj_galante. Damn guys can’t wait to share more of these! You guys are pros. Can you believe these were taken on an iPhone? See you can do it!! Download the free guide I made yourself mamas. You got this! Can’t wait to see your shots! Link in my bio!
A darling companion to the at home maternity guide just popped up on the blog of @everydaypursuits. Look no further for your own dose of simple, adorable wardrobe inspo! Love this guys!
Absolutely obsessed with these shots I got in from Alissa’s quarantined at home maternity session using the DIY Maternity photo guide I made. Her compositions are sooo clean and the tones so rich! Yes! This is the good stuff guys. What are you out there capturing? What are you having difficulties with? How do you edit your photos? Need some advice? I’ll be hosting a zoom chat next week to go over any questions you may have!! Check my stories and DM for an invite!
It brings me so much joy to see all of these mamas putting the DIY maternity guide to use. Look at this gorgeous frame from Courtney. It’s so easy to let this time pass and not document your days but once you take a few you will cherish them years to come down the road!
I just recurved this beautiful image in a tag from @monika_mallos a mama already with another on the way. So beautiful and it made me feel so full in my heart to see this gorgeous photo actualized! I’m really looking forward to seeing more of what you guys shoot out there. Keep shooting and sharing! Xo
I started thinking about all of the other mamas like me who were in their third trimester; but unlike me had no professional photography experience. My heart feels your pain and I am there with you. So, I have created this guide for expecting moms. It’s free to download and runs you through everything that is going on in my head when I am doing a maternity shoot for a client from lighting basics to posing to inspiration. I hope it helps you in some way capture this moment in time. I can’t wait to see what you come up with! Click on the link I’ve put in my bio for access to the PDF.
Hey guys. I’ve been thinking a lot about what I have to offer this community of women who, like me, are expecting a baby any day amidst this quarantine. It’s hard to let go of your baby shower, your photos, a babymoon, even seeing your mom in a time like this. That’s why I’ve begun creating a photo guide for expecting mamas to take their own badass maternity photos. Working nights and early mornings to churn it out. Can’t wait to share it! DM if you are interested and tag your friends who may need some help with this. #babywereinthistogether
Gorgeous floral at the Villaseñor wedding. Beautiful textures and shades
You can cancel a wedding but you can’t cancel a marriage in the same way. Feeling the confidence exuded from Rachel as we move into this unknown territory of life and her wedding she’s been planning (that was supposed to be this Saturday) melts away around her. Inspired by her ease of “letting go” . Big picture mentalities remind me we are far from unfortunate. Thank you girl for being the definition of #loveauthentic
One fine day with @snapshotlopes and @trevortraynor that was so calm and peaceful looking at the next few months, thinking about the unknown and all of our cancelled jobs and enjoying each others company. Grateful to not be sick or hungry and so far only feel the love from this fall out. I know others are not so lucky. Finding love in our family and friends as I sit 7.5 months pregnant thinking about this world and the times we are in. #loveauthentic
The more the merrier! What’s a wedding without a can can line worth of friends to party right next to you. These are the days! These are the moments!
Throw it down boy and howl at the sky! This is your day and you look so fly!
Nestled in a treehouse reading a sweet note from the groom. Yes that’s the way at Acre Baja. My second heaven and favorite place to be!
I. LOVE. THIS GOWN. That is all Rue de Seine till the day I die I tell you. They make the most beautiful Boho gowns in all the land.
Is there any face more beautiful? I seriously doubt it people. I shot this portrait in a Marriott hotel room. Turning off all of the lights and focusing instead on a small pool of soft window light from the side the beauty that is Alpana's face became to focus of the shot. Sometimes it's not about an elaborate staged photo. Sometimes it about just creating soft simple moments.
