  • Day 4 of # igquiltfest2020 - hands. My hands...are my grandmother’s hands. Short fingers. Fat fingers. Little stumpy hands. But like her hands, these hands create, cradle and cuddle. Every time I look down and see her hands reflected back, I remember her stitching in the back bedroom, cooking in the kitchen, and teaching herself to paint. I feel lucky to share the maker heritage with her, and hopeful to pass it on to my children and grandchildren. And I’m super appreciative to be able to design fabrics and quilts to inspire others to create too! #tamarinis #igquiltfest #ifquiltfest2020day4 #ifquiltfestday2020 #mygrandmothershands #creativehands
