Heather Here! Sharing a picture and advice from my wedding . . I got married on October 15, 2016. The weekend before my wedding in Georgetown, SC, a major hurricane hit the coast of North and South Carolina. There was significant damage, power outages, one of our hotels was under water, so many things felt like they were going wrong. For months I had planned every single detail down to the custom cocktail napkins and in that moment, all that planning seemed to go out the window. The stress I felt for my vendors and my family and friends who were traveling from all over the country was immense. I had to make a call, 7 days before my wedding, if we were going to continue with it or postpone. I chose to move forward and it was the best day of my life, still is. . . I tell this story because what was right for me, may not be right for you, what worked for your friend, may not for you! When it comes to making decisions about keeping or postponing your wedding due to COVID, every choice is personal! We are here to support you through it all, you do not need to shoulder this alone! To our current ABBD clients and future, you hire a wedding planner for not only when things go as planned but more importantly, for when they don't. Can I get an AMEN!
