A great success to our first after school Science club. We made a car powered by air from a balloon and talked about kinetic energy and friction. Lots of fun was had by all.
Also, a lovely start to Reading/Homework club at lunchtime. The children enjoyed a nice calm space to enjoy books and comics and there was some homework completed as well.

Maple class have begun their music unit about the Baroque era with learning about recitatives - which is part of an opera where the sung melody imitates speech.
The children wrote their own version based on the theme of 'forgetting something' then performed their pieces to a backing track!
