I’ve been feeling this tug on my heart for a while. So, during this season of rest + reflection, I’m taking some time to trade in all the time I spend looking at my phone and focus it elsewhere. If I’m honest, I’ve needed this pause for a while. But I always use my business as a scapegoat, giving in to the lie that if I’m not hustling on here 24/7, I’m not succeeding. This is an amazing space, but it doesn’t deserve my full attention. I’ll pop in periodically, but if you need to reach me before April 5, shoot me an email or text. I’m looking forward to being more present with my attention and my heart during Lent this year + being less consumed with perfecting my social media presence. 🤍

Don’t be afraid to get close. As a photographer, I’m constantly looking for composition, seeing the whole picture and looking for beauty in places no one else thinks of. But I’m also not afraid to get close. Connect. Lean into the details. Connection turned it all around for me. Don’t be afraid to look for ways to connect with your subject (and the person in front of you). ❤️
