It’s gallery delivery day for these two! Michelle and Bill, go pour yourselves a glass of wine and start reliving your wedding day all over again! . This means my editing queue is empty just in time for a much needed holiday weekend! I’ve got a few home improvement projects planned, an epic styled shoot in Baltimore on Sunday, and probably some boat time and grilling in there too! Cannot wait!
Don’t let this picture-perfect image fool you: Megan & Frankie’s engagement session didn’t exactly go according to plan! . In all the excitement, Megan’s second outfit accidentally got left at home 30 miles away! 😳 A familiar face came to their rescue, though - head over to the blog to see who! . Fate totally stepped in for these two! We had a chance to shoot some film, soak in a GORGEOUS sunset, and pop champagne as Megan & Frankie celebrated their engagement. These two are full of joy and warmth and I cannot WAIT for their wedding next year! . Congratulations Megan & Frankie! WE LOVE YOU!
Stepping into Monday one foot at a time! . Yesterday was our first family boat day of the season! We all overslept a little this morning and to top it off, I was OUT OF COFFEE. Gah! . Somehow we made it out the door in one piece, I have been caffeinated sufficiently and I’m gearing up to tackle the inbox. I hope your Monday is a good one, friends!
We got SO SPOILED tonight! Megan and Frankie are getting married next year, and their engagement session was one for the books! . There may have been a wedding and a million prom goers at Jefferson Patterson Park tonight, but it felt like it we had it all to ourselves. The weather was perfect, these two were total naturals in front of the camera, and THAT SUNSET! Swipe through to see what I mean! . If their engagement session was this good, I just know the wedding is going to be EPIC! Congratulations you two! 🎉📷
MODELS. Models, y’all. Greenwell was crawling with at least 100 prom-goers tonight, but you’d never know it from these images! I may be slightly biased, but the Nelson family was totally the cutest foursome in the park! . We’ve been planning this session for months and had to reschedule twice due to rain, but it was totally worth the wait! I’m so glad we waited for THIS GLOW!!! . Please join me in wishing these two a happy anniversary! Kelly and Russ have been married for seven years this Sunday, and they still look like high schoolers in love!

You’d never guess where I shot this image... . In my own front yard! 🤭 . I foraged the greenery from one of our bushes. The ring box is from @the_mrs_box, and the clam dish was a $2 antique store find! . Add in a few vintage Annapolis stamps and a dusty blue linen @stylingmat, and you’ve got yourself a gorgeous detail image! . Just give me a few meaningful details and access to natural light, and we can make a beautiful photograph anywhere!
Shoutout to @leighburbank13 for the BOMB new headshots! I love these and can’t pick a favorite, so I’ll let you decide! . I love being photographed by Leigh. She’s methodical and patient, the perfect balance of giving direction and waiting for a moment to happen. . Plus, she says things like “stand in this field and look relatable!” which 10/10 times results in giggles from me! . So, here I am, standing in a field and looking relatable! I forgot to put on makeup, so don’t look too closely!
These two make life with two boys, two and under look easy. I told Ashley that the session might have felt chaotic (totally normal with a newborn and a two year old!), but that the images would look so much better than they actually felt in that moment. . That’s kind of what parenting is all about, right? It’s chaos and tears and boo-boos and so. much. doubt. But then you take moment, catch your breath, and realize - it was beautiful all along. . Thank you for trusting me, Henni family. Congratulations on baby Carter!
