Happy 1st Anniversary Lexi & Ross!
I’m so thankful for the amazing wedding photographers in my area that I call my friends. Especially during this hard season as wedding professionals, it’s so important to have each others’ backs. I’m helping put a friend today by photographing a wedding for her. She has helped me out this season a couple of times and I’m just happy to be able to do the same for her today! It’s a gorgeous day for a wedding!
None of these photos really fit my feed, and they are all cell phone shots, but I’ve decided that’s okay! I thought it’d be a good way for you that are new here to get to know me a little. I’m Karen, a destination wedding photographer. I love traveling, the beach, tacos and margs, my family, and swimming. I am so thankful that I got to get away for some relaxation this week with our three oldest daughters, while my husband is home with the two little ones. Today we are going on a very fun shelling boat tour with @newavecocharters. You can follow along in stories. I’m just hoping to see some dolphins and find some awesome shells to take home for the littles. I’m so excited to be out on the open water exploring God’s creation and creatures. #destinationwwsdingphotographer #traveller #ftmyerssanibel #sanibelcaptiva
I found this quote while looking for a quote to post about the ocean. I like it and thought you might to. It speaks to me in a way, but for me, the draw of the ocean is less about finding myself and more about connecting with the God who created me and this wide, vast, powerful, beautiful, mesmerizing ocean. I feel most a peace and closest to God when I'm on the water.
