• Part of my job is to network and learn about the many different travel suppliers I can partner with for my clients.

Today’s training with Wilderness Safari has been a fascinating session focusing on their commitment to sustainable travel and the many wildlife and ecosystem programs they are utilizing within Africa.

Love hearing about the many conservation programs they have been utilizing during COVID including delivering over 10,000 food packages to 35 different communities across the 6 countries they are located in (Kenya, Botswana, Rwanda, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe).

Knowing that you are supporting a small tour operator that is doing its part to impact destinations and the people and animals that live there in a purposeful and positive way is so important.

I’m ready to go on a safari now, who is with me?

  • Happy 1st of March (my birthday month just in case you want to know)😉

Taking some time this afternoon to actually plan some personal travel.
I leave for Tennessee in a few weeks for some really fun hotel visits (more about this to come). It will feel so good to road trip it and get back into the travel routine once again.

I could ask a lot of questions about how everyone is feeling now that we are staring down the one year anniversary of…well you know… but instead I’d love to hear one thing happening in March that you are excited for.

  • Last night I got to sit down at a coffee shop for an hour and talk UK trips with a new client and her husband.

Do you know how refreshing and exciting it was to talk about travel again with a client? It is one of my favorite parts about what I do.

Their trip isn’t until 2022 but planning and dreaming with a client for a special trip like this made me so hopeful for the future of travel.

First place you want to go when things open back up? I want to hear about the destinations you are dreaming of.

  • Travel Inspo Tuesday.

Going back through some of my photos today and reminiscing on one of my favorite days on our Netherlands trip…Zaanse Schans!

This quaint little town 45 minutes outside Amsterdam is filled with historic homes and quintessential Dutch windmills.

The windmills and homes were relocated here to recreate the look of a 18th century village.

Travelers can wander a round and go into each of the windmills (they all do different things like make paint, peanut butter, chocolate and even cut wood), you can also view a clog making demonstration and buy some cheese and chocolates along the way.

Zaanse Schans can be touristy so go early in the morning but it is a ton of fun and was a highlight of our trip.

  • I can tell you all day long the value a travel advisor brings, but its more fun to let my clients (whom I just adore so much) do it for me.

There is a lot going on in your life- work, school, running businesses, running errands, making sure everyone is fed, taking time for some self care, working out, eating healthy, and just generally functioning as an adult during the craziest year we have all had.

Planning a vacation shouldn’t be a chore or task that takes up your precious time and stresses you out in the process.

Leave it to The Constant Wayfarer. Let’s meet to talk through your trip wants and needs, I do all the heavy lifting before, during and after your trip. All you have to do is pack your bags.✈️🧳
