Skill Development & FUN were at the top of the list at this week's Summer Basketball Camps with Tri-City Youth Basketball. It's been a great week with Head Camp Coach Joe Enevoldson, who happens to be the Head Coach of Men’s Basketball at Douglas College and the Manager of High Performance at Basketball BC. 🙌🏼Thank you, Coach!!! 🙏 We've got another round of Summer Camp action taking place August 6th to 9th. For that week of camps our Head Coach will be none other than Anthony Luyken, recent Basketball BC Provincial Team coach and Centre for Performance Head Coach!! It’s Summertime and the living is easy.... while the mood is BASKETBALL. 🙌🏼🏀 ALL. DAY. LONG. . . Mundy Park was the hot spot 🔥 yesterday, with the Coquitlam in Bloom 3 X 3 Basketball Tournament that took place in the city's new Pop-Up Youth Park. Tri-City Youth Basketball was there to support this amazing event. 🙏 A big round of Thanks to the City of Coquitlam, to our Officials and to the families who cheered the players on, and of course to the players themselves who made this day so INCREDIBLE!
Our very own Tri-City Tribe - our U12 Elite Boys team - were CHAMPIONS at the Drive Summer Classic back in June. They competed in the Silver Division and they DOMINATED their pool! Well done, guys!
As a grassroots organization, we absolutely ♥️ the Tri-Cities and we're always proud to support our local community. At the end of June, Tri-City Youth Basketball was out to support the kick-off of the Coquitlam in Bloom program, a local initiative that promotes community pride in our local green spaces. This year the program has a special focus on youth and features a cool Pop-up Youth Park at Mundy Park! We'll be out again on Sunday, July 14 at the Coquitlam in Bloom 3x3 Outdoor Basketball tournament at their Pop-up Park at Mundy Park. For more info and to register a team go to www.coquitlam.ca/cib

⭐️ It was an OUTSTANDING weekend for the Tri-City Knights, our U13 Elite Red Team. They were at SFU competing in the Western Canadian Championships where they WON THEIR POOL, ending the tournament with a 2-2 record. Well done, Knights! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Some pics of the U13 Elite Black team, the Tri-City Wolfpack, who competed at Trinity Western University and Langley Events Centre this weekend at the Western Canadian Championships, the team's last tournament of the Spring Season. . . They played in the Gold Division and their last game of the weekend against the Split Second Cobras was their only win... but it was a sweet win just the same! 🍬 The perfect way to end the season.
