Pratt Lab graduate student Tiantian Zhu and Ault Lab graduate student Kayleigh Reilly spent February–April in Tasmania, Australia collecting atmospheric particles in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and CSIRO in Australia!
Analysis of the samples they collected will provide unique insight into the chemical composition of aerosol particles over the Southern Ocean.

Michigan Chemistry hosted the 4th Annual Agilent Measurement Science Symposium last week, celebrating the vital role of measurement in science, and sponsored by Agilent Technologies!
The symposium featured inspiring keynote lectures by Julia Laskin from Purdue University, Emily Chea from GenNext Technologies, and Mike Mirkin from CUNY – Queens College. We had an engaging Q&A session with industry leaders from U-M, BASF, Dow, Wacker, and Agilent. Our student poster sessions showcased amazing innovations in analytical chemistry, biomolecular engineering, and beyond.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the event's success. We look forward to seeing what's next!
