Our first Zucchini harvest of the year. Gold Rush variety. Going to the grill with this one STAT! And a more traditional Black Beauty variety we'll leave in for another night. It'll be used for baking some chocolate zucchini bread tomorrow. #growbigorgohome #gardengeek #growsomethinggreen
The back of the playhouse we're building. Art work courtesy of @wickertjess. Almost feels wrong to be adding rock holds to make this a climbing wall. We'll spray a coat of protective sealant on the paint first.
While many are excited to be breaking away for the Uintas over the coming weeks, I think I'm growing more excited to make another visit southward to the Tushars this summer. There's a charm there I'd like to experience again and share with @wickertjess. They also remind me of the time I spent in New Zealand.
Been working hard at a playhouse for my kids. I'm in the middle of roofing it. Since I have all this felt paper before me, I'm posting a close up picture of it as my way of showing solidarity and support of people of color and all other minorities out there. #blackouttuesday

This is how I spent my night last night. I recently picked up a used Sony RX100 largely to be able to have a small, lightweight camera capable of capturing photos just like this when out backpacking in the backcountry. I also attempted to do a star trail video and a Milky Way time lapse. However, with the temp at 25 degrees and an even colder wind-chill, my batteries weren't willing to put up with it. Perhaps better luck on the latter with warmer nights later this summer. #sony #rx100 #dixienationalforest #milkyway
When the views of family together, side by side, are better than the views you just left behind. With the year almost half over, I just enjoyed my first night out in the wilderness and loved having the company of my wife and our two oldest daughters.
