A little something for @shopbebelestrange ā”ļø. One of our favorite things to design are brand icons or emblems. Putting words with symbols or shapes is so much fun for me! We get a lot of inquires on making things like this so weāre definitely adding that into our new packages and structuring that in more!

A sneak peek of what weāve been up to! š Our new name, new website, improved client experience + gifting is happening so soon!! Itās so hard to not spill all the beans already but I promise itāll be worth the wait. Why did we change our client experience and how? While our clients loved the outcome of their design week(s), and voiced they were thrilled with the speed, detail and vision we provided them, I wanted to give them more. I personally felt unsatisfied with just giving them something digital. I am creating a whole experience here. One that Iāll share with you once we fully launch, but Iām telling you...I wish this was around for when I wanted a photographer or branding or a website. I want all my clients to truly immerse themselves in our design weeks, feel inspired like never before and get the most out of their time with us that they possibly can. I know investing in your business is sometimes really scary. I completely understand that and know that what weāre going to offer will get you PUMPED before we even begin. šš

When I was in art school, professors would tell us, āif you look at your work and think itās perfect...youāre wrong, youāre not done yet. If youāre not dissatisfied, feeling doubts or question what youāre doing, then youāre not truly growing as an artist. There is no such thing as perfect art. It will always look unfinished to the artists eye.ā That stuck with me. The teaching of ānever being fully satisfiedā honestly kind of messed me up. Thereās a lot to unpack here. From burn out society to taking mental health days, where does this ābalanceā of artistic creativity and life lie? Itās one thing to look at your work and feel accomplished, proud, excited and even teary eyed. Itās another to look at it and feel the total opposite while others fawn over it. Iām sure weāve all been there. Itās wild to see what others respond to in your portfolio as their favorite pieces. This is the ultimate artists struggle. When to stop. We know, itās hard to stop when youāre in total creative flow. I get it all the time. āJust one more!ā and then I turn around or a new angle comes into play and woah, the doors open up again and I canāt stop shooting. Itās a rush. In a society that glamorizes being busy, hustling and now, being an āentrepreneurā, how do you keep your inner creative sane? It may be obvious, but for me itās mainly not coming on Instagram. Itās going on long walks, making art for myself that never sees the light of day, listening to favorite songs on repeat, watching documentaries and learning about new things. Tell me what works for you!

When I tell you I am so excited about this re-brand...I mean it keeps me up at night, I think about it constantly and am putting so much of my heart & soul into it. We are constantly tweaking things, adjusting, testing, every detail is being looked at so itās exactly how we want it. Itās exhausting, overwhelming and nerve-racking. Owning a business is scary. Itās not something to take lightly. It will change your life, the way you think about things and will impact almost every decision you make. But it is worth it - in my opinion. Itās always worth following you gut, listening to you intuition and going where your heart wants to take you. It may not be the obvious or easy route - but who wants it to be easy all the time? Thatās the beautiful challenge called owning a business.
