Students in Primary are learning about dynamics and tempo in #Music 🎶

They are exploring different instruments and discovering how music can be played loud or soft, fast or slow. The children are also learning how to conduct an orchestra, guiding the musicians with their movements and bringing the music to life.

Students in KS3 are learning the basic skills of playing the keyboard 🎹

They are learning to read music notation and practise using all their fingers to develop good technique. The students are playing fun and familiar tunes such as SpongeBob SquarePants, the Super Mario theme, and He’s a Pirate.

A great way to build confidence, coordination, and musical understanding! 🎶

Class 4.5 have loved using the new trampoline in their #PE lessons this half term, and their techniques are improving all the time. The students have shown great enthusiasm and are becoming more confident with their skills each week.

The Key Stage 5 #Lifeskills pathway group have thoroughly enjoyed learning about caring for pets during their animal care lessons this half term. They have learned how to groom and feed animals safely.

All students had the opportunity to visit pets at home, take Charlie and Lola our School dogs for walks, feed and groom Gino, Fred and Gordon our School Guinea Pigs. It’s been amazing to see the students confidence grow.

#KeyStage4 Students have created some amazing designs for their masks. They have taken inspiration from patterns used in African Masks as well as their chosen Animal theme. They have used a range of different materials including watercolour paints, coloured pencils black fineliners as well as Acrylic Markers. Next week they are starting to model a basic armature using paper mache.
