Class 5.3 have been working on measurement during their #Maths lessons. Students used measuring scales to find the correct weight of ingredients in grams, needed when cooking a cake.

Our #SixthForm students participated in first aid workshops with Ian from St John’s Ambulance to support their #Lifeskills lessons. They learned valuable, life saving skills including how to to use an AED defibrillator. The sessions were very interesting and students were keen to be involved.

Students in Primary are learning about dynamics and tempo in #Music 🎶

They are exploring different instruments and discovering how music can be played loud or soft, fast or slow. The children are also learning how to conduct an orchestra, guiding the musicians with their movements and bringing the music to life.

Students in KS3 are learning the basic skills of playing the keyboard 🎹

They are learning to read music notation and practise using all their fingers to develop good technique. The students are playing fun and familiar tunes such as SpongeBob SquarePants, the Super Mario theme, and He’s a Pirate.

A great way to build confidence, coordination, and musical understanding! 🎶
