HEYOOOOOO.. So excited to be back with another #tiptuesday 🥳🥳 Today I would love to reflect on ‘why community over competition’ is important for photographers and the wedding industry as a whole🤩 First and foremost, everyone wins with this mindset. You win. The person who just started their business wins. The person who has been doing this for 10+ years wins. And an even bigger bonus, our couples in the wedding industry win when we work together! This is a gamer changer on wedding days when you have a team surrounding you who are all ready to do whatever is needed to help the couples vision and day come to life💞 It also encourages collaborations and growing together - which I believe allows us to truly reach not only our own potential but also the collective’s potential all at the same time. We are designed to be in community and getting to work in a safe and trusted community setting with people who understand what it is like to be an artist and a business owner while they are also genuinely cheering you on from the sidelines is the coolest thing ever🎉 It helps us fight against the spirit of comparison - which is the destroyer of creativity and relationships, in my opinion. And I am not saying that it completely eliminates those thoughts that pop up in all of our heads, but it gives you room to acknowledge them, put them aside, and instead choose to support, encourage, and uplift your friend in the industry! And how enjoyable is being able to put out more love, life, and light into the world, am I right?✨ Lastly, you can feel support instead of fighting the dog-eats-dog race that social media and the world wants you to fear. I believe that whatever it is God has called you to do, that He will make a space for you! No industry or market is too saturated or too competitive for you not to be able to shine. Trust your path and help bring others along on the journey with you - I promise it is way more fun to do this life with good friends and create beautiful memories!🥰🥰
