  • ✨ Root Chakra Healing ✨ The root chakra is an energetic center located at the base of the spine. How safe and secure we feel in the world can be related to experiences that become energetically stored there. Inconsistent caregivers, chaotic environments, and any traumatic experiences can impact this chakra and deeply affect our sense of whether or not we can trust that our needs will be met. If you struggle with feeling safe in the world, trusting others to meet your needs, or feelings of low self esteem and insecurity it can be helpful to reflect on your early life experiences and also focus on supporting this foundational chakra. While healing deep issues that affect our sense of security in the world is a journey that can need a lot of reflection and processing through deeply stored emotions and experiences, clearing and energetically supporting our root chakra daily can help provide a great basis for this deeper healing. When I am working on supporting my root chakra, some simple practices I like to incorporate into my day are: ✨ grounding/earthing ✨listening to healing music, particularly drumming ✨working with crystals that support the root chakra such as black tourmaline, obsidian, bloodstone, garnet or red jasper ✨ working with supportive mantras/affirmations ✨physical movement and exercise ✨working with the color red ✨essential oils such as cedar, cinnamon, clove, frankincense, patchouli or other earthy scents Here are some root chakra affirmations that I’ve found particularly helpful to focus on! I also really like working with this root chakra spray with patchouli, cinnamon, Ylang ylang and beriberi while meditating or just spraying around my home and sacred space. My body is more relaxed and negative thought spirals I’ve been stuck in are quieted. I have a more positive outlook and am able to approach life more optimistically. ✨ I have more clarity. This allows me to see issues, problems, or points of confusion more objectively and think about them more expansively...I’m reacting less from wounding and more from my true self. ✨ I have more energy. I pulled these cards from @the_moondeck and felt like they gave me some great reminders about manifestation that I felt inspired to share. ✨ Focusing on what else I needed to do and the results I had yet to see was keeping me stuck. When I switched my focus to what I had already accomplished, what was going well, and amazing support I had already received I felt much less tense and could surrender to letting the universe do it’s part. ✨ I was reminded that a question I could ask myself was “what feels beautiful, joyful, and fulfilling to do next?” and let that guide me. This led me to take a break, meditate, and come into a more receptive energy. As soon as I did, a video from one of my favorites @flourishinggoddess popped up (there are no coincidences!) discussing how to manifest from the divine feminine and reminded me of embodying goddess energy and creating joyfully through nourishing myself and being open and receptive instead of forcing and struggling. ✨I was also reminded of how many times I’ve had the experience of things coming together in just the right way so that my next action was clear. That it’s been proven to me over and over that I will intuitively feel the next right step and need only take action that feels inspired and exciting. Because of that, I was able to more calmly pause and switch my focus to other things. A few hours later I received an unexpected phone call from a friend and that conversation gave me several new ideas and inspiration for ways to move forward. This is how the Universe works when we let it! đź’• I found these reminders helpful and I hope they resonated with you!
