  • It’s always amazing to me getting to watch families grow through my lens. Just as they are growing and changing through the years I feel I am growing and changing as an artist. I have been photographing this family for about 5 years now, starting with their middle child’s fresh 48hr session. We haven’t seen each other almost a year and it’s like we didn’t skip a beat. I can not stop expressing to my clients how humbling it is when a family allows me to step into their story and be there for some of their important moments and memories. 💕

  • This father-daughter session felt extra special. This dad reached out to me to authentically capture his relationship with his girls. They told me how he takes them shopping and this weekend they went apple picking, I watched their bond unfold in front of me in the short time we spent together. Being the oldest of three girls, I've had a relationship with our dad the longest. He too was the dad that took us shopping for dances and things, he still never misses an event, and he has always been there when we needed someone to listen and give steady advice. The father-daughter bond hurts my heart in the best way. Now having a daughter of my own and being front row to hear and my husband's relationship, I see the importance of documenting it.
