Last week Teaching Assistants across #Zenith took part in a conference with Joel Shaljean from ESSET on Adaptive Teaching and Therapeutic Thinking. It was a great session, and food was provided by the #KeyStage4 Aspire work placement students from @castledon_school !!

Zenith Trust is extremely proud to have been working with the celebrated Welsh artist Emyr Williams!

Emyr’s work has been exhibited throughout Europe and America, and he works closely with the Royal Academy of Arts. Over the last 3 months, students from each of our Trust schools (The James Hornsby School, Castle View School, Castledon School, Laindon Park Primary School and The King John School) have had the opportunity to work with a professional artist to explore a range of painting and sculpture techniques. This has been an experience that our students have relished, and they have risen to the challenge to create some truly wonderful works of art.

Emyr Williams, said:

“It’s been great working with all the schools in the Trust. The Art teachers have been unfailingly generous and supportive in every school visited. The students have been amazing. The work they’ve made has demonstrated such a wealth of creativity and imagination. They’ve produced wonderful drawings, paintings, collages, prints, and sculptures'
