Lots of things happening in my world as of late. We are set to PCS move in less than 2 weeks. We haven’t packed a single thing and we still haven’t sold our house. As if that wasn’t enough, we just found out this week our 1 month old niece was diagnosed with cancer. 💔 Cam and I have set up a @gofundme account for my sister-in-law and brother-in-law to assist them with medical bills and lost wages. We are truly overwhelmed at the amount of support they’ve received thus far. Here is the link if you’d like to share/contribute: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-ansley-kick-cancers-ass All of that being said, we are staying positive. We have the utmost faith that everything will work out, but I’ll be scarce here for a while. 💛
Calling all workaholics: Do you spend your weekends working on your business? Do you sacrifice your own self care for the good of your business? I get it. I’m guilty of giving way too much of myself and not filling my cup nearly enough. It’s hard to shut off your passion and it’s even harder to find a balance when you’re wearing so many hats. However we all need boundaries. Here are a couple I’ve implemented so I don’t overstep my work life and my family life: 1. Abide by set working hours. Don’t send emails or schedule meetings outside of them. Your time is precious and your clients will respect that, I promise. 2. Take time off. We thrive on serving our clients. But we all need time to unplug and focus on ourselves and our loved ones once in a while to avoid burn out. I cannot tell you how refreshed I feel heading into this week after a week spent traveling and relaxing with my family. Do you give yourself boundaries? Tell me about them below. 💛 📷: @katelaraine of @katelarainephotography
For this #fridayintroductions I want to introduce you to my biggest supporter, my husband, my best friend. After 11 years, 10 combat deployments, countless training events, and numerous service awards, today was Cam’s last day in the 75th Ranger Regiment. 🇺🇸 I’m beyond proud of what he has accomplished and grateful for all he does for his country and for us. And I’m ecstatic that the kids and I get him all to ourselves for the next 40+ days until our next Army adventure! Here’s to hoping we don’t get sick of each other! 🤣 This crazy, unpredictable lifestyle is what led me to start my own business, and I’m truly thankful for it. And even more so that we are each other’s biggest fans. 💛 Who is your biggest fan?
