✨ Said another way, judgment is a mirror. It simply reflects a person's trigger back onto themselves. That goes for judgment you perceive from others & judgment you dish out.

✨ If you feel judgment in your life, ask yourself where it came from and be honest: Is it yours or theirs? 

✨ If it's yours, what triggered it? Is it even true? Or is it a defense mechanism you use to continue to play small?

✨ If it's theirs, pay no attention to it. After all, it's just a reflection of their own internal triggers, not yours. Don't carry it for them.

✨ Successful people whom you admire never judge you. In fact, they are cheering you on and want to see you succeed. Keep going.

Let it be easy kept coming up for me when I reviewed 2020. We all know 2020 was a lot of things. Unexpected? Emotional? Explosive? Heartbreaking? Terrible, yet somehow good in some ways? Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Something that the pandemic, quarantine & world turmoil taught me was how much I unnecessarily overcomplicated some aspects of life. With no direction of where 2020 was going to go, I just started to tell myself let it be easy. I stopped telling myself that things felt hard and lived in the present moment. I reminded myself that worrying about a future that hasn't happened yet only creates anxiety, and worrying about the past (where nothing can change) is a waste of time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And you know what, that felt really good. The more I focused on let it be easy, the easier it felt to navigate the world and life's changes. So for 2021, I'm continuing on with let it be easy as the world continues to change and morph into a new way of being.
