So fortunate to have connected with such beautiful community of artists. This is why we do this.
The proximity to animals will be one of the many things we will miss about painting in the idyllic English countryside. Something about sharing the same quiet and open space with them while painting makes you immediately lighter and happier. Maybe one of the unseen reasons why paintings got stronger this time?

We are members of the UN Carbon Offset Platform, so we calculated the carbon footprint of our trip to Winchester (plane and car) and made a direct contribution to a participating project (in India this time) directly offsetting carbon emissions. We’re aware that nothing beats not using fossil-fueled forms of transportation, but we’re happy to find ways to support communities that directly take hundreds of thousands of tons of CO2 off our shared air per year.
